Fox News Studio B host Shepard Smith has had more than his fair share of on-air outbursts over the years; some have been admirable while others have been borderline abusive. Shep is again a hot topic in the blogosphere this month for a discussion with Juan Williams where he refuses to take the Fox News company line to support union-busting in Wisconsin. It reminded me this 2009 Wreck & Salvage remix in which Jack Nicholson’s famous Military villain from the 1992 movie A Few Good Men is made to appear on Fox News arguing with Shepard over the issue of US-sanctioned torture. The remix is especially relevant now as the controversy over the Obama Administration’s torturous treatment of accused wikileaker Bradley Manning heats up and Shep is again taking a principled stance against the practice.
